PLEASE NOTE! The balance of your trip will be automatically charged 45 days before your trip start date for BVI, and 60 days before your trip start date for Fantasy Sails. America's Cup 2009,  The Cup Returns to Spain and so does Sea Dog Sailing!

Sea Dog Sailing returns to the cup for the 4th time - thats right 4 times visiting and sailing during the Americas Cup! Our first and second time were in Auckland, New Zealand and then most recently our third visit to the cup was in Valencia, Spain. We have decided to return again for a 4th time to enjoy the pomp and ceremony as well as all the festivities geared to take place in July 2009. We will sail for a week after the start of the cup around the Balearic Islands. Sailing Itinerary will be announced closer to the time.

Special Note: This is a special sailing trip that is geared towards sailors with more experience or serious sailors who are looking to gain more experience. This is NOT a certification trip but it is also not a trip for people or sailors who are not willing to participate in the sailing of the boat or who are not aware of the sailing conditions. We will require sailing experience/trip expectation questionnaires before you sign up for this trip.

Join us in the most beautiful islands in all of the Caribbean - the French West Indies! Your gourmet sail will start on the island of St. Maarten; we will sail from St. Maarten to the international playground for the rich and famous - exotic St. Barts where you will have time to explore, shop and dine in some of the most beautiful anchorages in the world. From there we will sail to the interesting and laid back island of Anguilla. This is a very special fantasy sail with a nice mixture of sailing, dining and cultural experiences!

          Warm brie  with tropical fruit and nuts

        The queen of French  cheeses served warmed and draped with fresh local fruit and nut glaze

  Bruschetta  with goat cheese and sun dried tomato pesto

        Toasted baguette  slices topped with local goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes and fresh basil

  Ceviche

        A selection of fresh local  fish combined with the flavors of the Caribbean  . . . limes, onions, chilies and other seasonings


      

Entrées

          Red Snapper  with olives, capers, artichoke hearts and tomatoes with potatoes provincial

        A of fresh local fish  oven baked and topped with the traditional tastes of the Mediterranean served  with sautéed potatoes seasoned with the flavors of Porvance

  Lobster  cakes with a spicy Caribbean sauce served with  black beans and rice

        Think crab cakes . .  . prepared with local fresh lobster presented with a spicy Caribbean  influenced romulade sauce accompanied by the local favorite of black beans and  rice

  Moroccan  Chicken with orange mint scented couscous

        Chicken braised with  dates, figs and pine nuts presented with the traditional pasta dish of North Africa infused with orange and mint

  Desserts

  Caribbean banana  bread pudding

        Fresh local bananas  in a traditional bread pudding presented with papaya, guava and mango sauces  and infused with local rum

Spanish Virgin Islands

Sea Dog Sailing Sails the Spanish Virgin Islands

Join us for this advanced sailing course leaving from Tortola and sailing to the very special Spanish Virgin Islands of both Culebra and Vieques. Come sail and experience what few people ever see when they visit the Caribbean. We will offer both ASA 104 Bareboat Charter as well as Coastal Navigation 105 Certs on this course.

The pre-requisite for this course is a minimum of BKB 101 and BCC 103 as well as a desire to learn and build on your sailing skills.
